The Mopar Magician wasn’t born from a logo or business plan. It was earned through sharing knowledge, a willingness to assist others in need, with immediate results that spoke for themselves.
It started at the drag strip, when Richard shared his knowledge and assisted a frustrated car owner with an issue and the legend was born!
The Legend Begins :
During a drag and drive race event, a fellow racer was struggling to get a Hellcat Challenger to leave the starting line properly. Instead of recommending more parts or his tuning services, Richard took the time to explain exactly how to use the power the car already had under the hood. The car responded, the launch drastically improved, and everyone watching could see the difference immediately on the score board.
That’s when the track announcer yelled over the loudspeaker and said:
“Well Richard – The Mopar Magician just worked his magic on that launch “
That nickname stuck.
From that day forward, The Mopar Magician became more than just a nickname. People started calling Richard The Mopar Magician and it not only stuck ,it began to represent a philosophy that horsepower alone isn’t enough. Understanding how to make a HEMI perform—whether it’s on the street or at the track— having an understanding of exactly how the systems on the vehicle work is what separates good from great.
