DynoSoar Gen III HEMI camshafts are developed for real Mopar combinations, not chosen from a generic catalog. Every grind is designed around a specific use, from that choppy idle daily driven 5.7 Hemi Ram, an all out built naturally aspirated 6.4 HEMI to a fully modified blown 6.2 HEMI.
CHOOSE YOUR GRIND :
XANTHOS – A Ram 5.7 HEMI Friendly camshaft with a noticeable choppy idle, strong street performance and enough manners for regular daily driven and light towing applications. Stock convertor friendly, Requires NON-MDS lifters, and requires a VVT limiter kit installed for the ultimate street HEMI truck setup.
MERLIN- An aggressive naturally aspirated camshaft designed for the 5.7 HEMI or 6.4 HEMI that has an increase of power from 2500- 6200 RPM with that old school race car type choppy / thumpy idle. This camshaft will require valve springs in a 5.7 application and can retain the stock torque convertor in 5.7 and 6.4 HEMI applications. Requires NON-MDS lifters, and requires a VVT limiter kit installed for the ultimate street / strip setup.
RUMBLESTILCAM – A hard hitting street cam for the 5.7 or 6.4 HEMI cars that delivers that heavy, rhythmic race car sound choppy idle most owners expect from an aftermarket camshaft. This cam will require valve springs in a 5.7 or 6.4 application. A stall convertor is not required in the 6.4 car. In the 5.7 cars a stall is not required, but you will see an increase in performance with a 2800 stall paired with this shaft. Requires NON-MDS lifters, and requires a VVT limiter kit installed for the best results on the street and the track.
THE MAGICIAN – Our most aggressive performing naturally aspirated camshaft designed for the ultimate performing NA HEMI. Stall convertor and valve springs are required with this nasty shaft no matter what HEMI it goes into! Requires NON-MDS lifters, and requires a VVT lockout kit installed for the best results on the street and the track.
BLACK MAGIC – The shaft developed specifically for the supercharged 6.2 HEMI combinations where airflow, boost and horsepower meet and become one with the boost pressure. This camshaft will require valve springs but is stock convertor friendly for the 8HP90 transmissions. Requires NON-MDS lifters, and requires a VVT limiter kit installed for the best results on the street and the track for your blown shafted 6.2.
DynoSoar Camshafts are designed to be used with the correct matched valve springs, lifters, and other supporting valvetrain components. Custom tuning WILL be required on every shaft we offer.
